What the people above meant to say is that you won't find Microsoft staff here on the forum that can help.

You will need to get onto phone support, the reference number you have posted is after all only of use to them.

Thank you for being an actual help Jena. It didn't make sense to me either when a Microsoft rep told me to post here and put in a reference number. But I thought I'd give it a try.

 

I'm going to take a stab in the dark and assume you are looking for a $50 promotion you're supposed to receive for buying something. If it was something from the Xbox marketplace, the forums are where you're supposed to go, just not the general game discussion
section. You need to go to the forum directory and select Xbox 360 or One support and select the group (group 8) for promotions. IF you bought whatever you bought from the Microsoft store then you need to specifically contact Microsoft store sales and support
to inquire about the promotion.

I never suggested that one should be posted. If you're inquiring about a promotional item you're supposed to receive from making a purchase at the xbox marketplace, you need to post in the promotions forum. The Support team will look into your account, check
your eligibility and move forward wither either additional info or make the appropriate adjustments.

You're a high level Ambassador and yet you don't know the type of help the OP requires is not available anywhere on the forum. I can understand if you do not believe me, so ask in the Ambassador section of the forum and they will confirm I am right.

I appreciate you breaking off from Ambassador chat to come to the forum to help, but you should learn what the forum is capable of.

 

I'm simply referencing the
forums.xbox.com/.../4272.aspx section of the forum, which IS handled by official staff. Not to mention this is only plausible if it is in fact the issue they are having, which wasn't ever really established to begin with. Not here to argue, just pointing
in the correct direction. There are official sections of the forums handled by official xbox staff, not just community helpers.

 

Or you could be talking about something completely different, such as redeeming points on the wrong account for which you're requesting to have them transferred to another profile. Xbox Support from the Phone or Chat WOULD be the only group that would be
able to help you out with that. My suggestion is that if you would like further help, to explain the actual issue you're having.
