Points not rewarded for 12 days quest

I recently purchased an xbox one x through the "12 Days" bonus quest promotion. The order showed pending all trough the weekend after, even though I was charged immediately, but it would never allow me to check the achievement for making the order, and,
therefore, would not give me the points for the purchase. I have received the xbox, but the only reason I purchased it was for the points, as I already have one. Is there anyway to fix this, or should I just send it back and get a refund?
