Thanks guys for all the feedback, it seems that people still haven't forgot there little animated friend .

At the moment it seems that people would really like the option to be owe to have him/her on your main screen but maybe remade a bit better for the xbox one platform.

keep commenting people maybe xbox might get some ideas .

 

I would like to use my own face as a gamer pic. People will say if MS does that people will start to use other none facial pics as their gamer pic. Well, what I have to say about that is if the Kinect is supposed to be so good at distinguishing things then
I think it should be able to tell if a face is being used as a gamer pic or not. Am I thinking wrong about this?

 

I do miss the integration of Avatars. Hopefully we see them little more. At least they have not abandoned them completely. Using my avatar is much better than any of the current gamer pic's (in my opinion).

 

Avatars are just as good as scrapped.

 

I think avatars will be integrated more into the Xbox One eventually.

Whenever they day comes for a dashboard/home update.

They cashed in on a lot of money with the avatar store, they won't do away with it forever lol.

 

Was really hoping to use own pictures from Kinect or internet as our profile pics. But I feel Avatars are real pointless. Would like to see bio's, motto and name section back as like to have an idea of what others like. Met a lot of people just from having
same interests. Example. The Walking Dead. Huge fan

Avatars are an Xbox Live Feature Microsoft added. When Xbox 1 came out late last year, they included at least an Avatar app on the Dashboard. Though currently, Avatars are more prominent on the current Xbox 360 Dashboard.

In regards to Bio/Motto/Location I don't think they should go. Some peps don't want their Xbox 1 profile to look like a Drivers Licence Photo or Passport Photo and doesn't allow peps to add a phrase like bio/motto. Maybe some oldies here think they're to
old to add some funny stuff or a little about you and your likes. On Xbox 360 it also shows the COUNTRY of the profiles your playing with like US/Canada/Australia/NZ/UK. With Xbox 1 you cant tell unless you get a hint by their accent or if you ask them.

 

Considering the amount of vaginas that used to litter the threads on these boards when people were allowed to post their own pictures...

I don't see this feature coming to LIVE anytime soon.

As for the avatars, I think they are slowly binning them which is a shame because I liked my little dude. They must of at least made a fair bit of money off them though? Surely..
