PLZ HELP XBOX LIVE/ Connection Error

I HAVE LITERALLY TRIED EVERYTHING TO CONNECT TO XBOX LIVE & MY CONSOLE KEEPS SAYING I AM CONNECTED TO MY WIRELESS INTERNET BUT ANYTHING I TRY TO DO IT WILL SAY I HAVE TO BE CONNECTED. SO ANNOYING PLZ HELP !!!!

I HAVE REBOOTED MODEM & ROUTER. RESET CONSOLE MULTIPLE TIMES. EVEN RESET & DELETED EVERYTHING NOW I CANT EVEN GET PASSED THE CHECKING CONNECTION SCREEN ON FACTORY SETTINGS!!! NEVER BEEN SO DISSAPOINTED W MY XBOX BEFORE(

xbox live connection

I cant connect to xbox live connection, my internet and network work very well on Laptop but cant connect to xbox live when i make a connection test, stop at the xbox live connection, plz i need help i tried every solution on the website and nothing works.

Try logging out of all profiles and then remove your profile from the console and perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational reload
your profile and try connecting.

I have an xbox 360 slim ok so when test my xbox live connection it connects to everything but Xbox live then a message show saying that I have to update my xbox live and if I didn't update it won't connect to xbox live so I said yes and at the near end
of the update it xbox error plz give me a solution
