Plugging in US Xbox one x in Australia

Being that these would all be third party products we would advise to wait it out until you are back in the states. Many times devices should be perfectly fine when using these types of adapters but if you start running into problems it is best to wait it
out as you do not want to end up damaging the console.

There was no surge protector, i just used the adapter. Should i try with a different adapter? Or not even try till i get back to the states?

Sorry to hear you are running into these problems with your console. It is possible that the adapter that you are using is simply not compatible or not providing the necessary voltage to the console. Are you plugging it in to the adapter and directly into
the wall or onto a surge protector?

Normally we would advise
troubleshooting for any possible power issues but due to the current situation I would advise that we wait until the console is back in the US, this will let us know if the consoles power supply may have been damaged or if it was simply the adapter.

what the above ambassador said. The Volt is high in Australia and thus can cause damage to the xbox

You will need a step down power converter, since Australia is 240volts and i think the U.S is 110volts.
