Plugged usb into my Xbox turned off and my Xbox turns on but my tv doesn’t respond

It’s stuck on a black screen now

It shows error 102 how do I fix that

I understand you need help with your Xbox problem.

Please try doing a manual reset on your Xbox console.

NOTE: This will delete the profiles on your account, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

- Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

- Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

- Wait 30 seconds.

- Plug the power cord back in on another outlet.

- Press and hold the BIND button (the one to SYNC controllers) and the EJECT button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

- Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

- Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart.

Note: If you don't hear two power-up tones after 15 seconds, it means this failed. Likewise, if you hear any “power-down” chirps, that also means this failed.

- You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

- The console should start and show the Troubleshooting screen

- Choose "Reset this Xbox" and then "Keep games and apps".

This means that your console is actually trying to update but it is failing.

The next best option is an offline update.

To use the Offline System Update, you'll need:

A Windows-based PC with an Internet connection and a USB port

A USB flash drive with a minimum 6 GB of space formatted as NTFS

It would be best if we could try that to isolate the issue.

If it still does not work, most likely your console already has a hardware issue and would already require a repair.
