Plug and play USB metal controller piece stuck on.

I removed my plug and play charger today and I seen the little metal piece on the micro USB port of the controller came off with it and is stuck on the top of the plug and play! How bad is this and can it be fixed?!

Xbox 360 wired controller issue

I bought a brand new xbox wired controller a week or two ago because my old one was broke. Well this new one works great, but one day i had unplugged the controller, (and it pulled out of the usb extension cord part (the short cord at the end that plugs
into the xbox) and later that day i accidentally stepped on the end of the cord that was still on the controller. Basically it smushed in the part of the cord that plugs into the usb piece. I have a spare usb piece, so that wouldnt be a problem if i had stepped
on it, but its the actual round end plug still connected to the controller. It didnt smash any pieces off or anything, just flattened the little metal piece a bit. I took some needle nose pliers and pulled it out to make it round again so itd plug back into
the usb piece, which it does fit again, but now the controller wont even turn on at all. All the inside of the cord looks the same as my other controllers cord, but it doesnt work is there any way i can fix this?

Xbox 360 Plug and Play not working on laptop

I have got an Xbox 360 wireless controller and a plug and play kit with it. I |plug my USB part of the controller into the laptop USB drive. Nothing happens. I have put it in all the USB slots, but nothing works. I sound does play when I plug it in. Please
guide me with what to do. Thanks

Hey, H1dden Dark.

The USB Port itself was probably lose or the Plug and Play USB was too tight of a fit and came right out! I believe it can be repaired, maybe not. I guess you can try to send it in for repair here:
https://myservice.xbox.com The charge should be free if you are still under warranty (1 Year). You might need a new controller

Do you have the adapter piece? When I purchased my Xbox Controller "For Windows" it came with a USB receiver that I've had to use even when plugged in with a Play and Charge kit.

Yeah, I originally had the same drive (the regular version, not the metal one), and I cut out a small piece of electrical tape and stuck it over the light because it was flashing slowly when it was off.
