plug and play kit fried controllers

very unhappy with these xbox one controllers ,as of tomorrow i will be on my 4th controller and 3rd plug and play kit . i have been through all the little tests that are on the support page . the mini usb port on my controllers keeps killing the controllers
completely.

controllers #1, #3 was only plugged in when it needed a charge, but no matter how gentle you are the port becomes worn out

it says on the controller page you can plug the PnP cord in to the controller and run it like a wired controller, tried this it killed controller #2 the port can not handle any fraction of movement from the player.

my console is no longer in warranty cant get the original replaced ,tried returning the others but they are completely dead so no refund on 2 controllers or PnP kits.

is there ever going to be a redesign so it has a locked in feature like the 360 controller or are we doomed to spend 60$ every other month???

I really appreciate your feed back,I have 2 plug n play kits for both controllers,yes its prety much how im doing it,I mean full wired controllers,no battetys, no plug n play,should have made that clearer.

 

Controller Update for Preview Members

Plug and play kits don't require the controller to be updated, the headset adapter does though.

 

is there another way to get these fixed ?

 

Same thing happened to me... Xbox won't do anything about it....my controllers keep getting fried...I"m just sick and tired and always having to buy new accessories.... fix your *** xbox!
