    Hello Xbox Team, I'm an avid Xbox user and I'm experiencing a major frustration: the inability to use a plug-and-play USB microphone directly connected to the console. Technically, the console's USB port is capable of handling this type of device, and other platforms like PlayStation already offer this compatibility. However, Xbox doesn't allow this feature, which severely limits players' voice chat options, especially those who already own a high-quality USB microphone. I understand the stability and security issues, but a software update could certainly resolve this issue and greatly improve the user experience. I strongly encourage you to consider this change in a future system update. It would make the console more open and flexible, for the benefit of the entire Xbox community.     Will the Xbox One Play & Charge Kit be compatible with the Xbox Series X?

    Xbox One accessories and peripherals will be compatible with Xbox Series X. As to whether the rechargeable battery packs are compatible with an Xbox Series X controller, that has not yet been revealed at this time, to my knowledge. However, the new controller
    will use USB-C for its charging port instead of the Play & Charge Kit's Micro-USB plug.

    So I apparently just wasted my money for an Xbox Series X game…

    It is compatible with a Series X. It is not compatible with the One or a Series S since it doesn't have a disc drive.
    According to my Xbox Series X|S, the disc is “incompatible”, and I can only play a compatible version of it if I pay $62.99 for a new copy WITH EA Play.

    If I buy Hogwarts Legacy Xbox One Edition and play that now will I have to repurchase the Series X version when I get the new console? Or will it be backwards compatible?

    It's backwards compatible so you'll be able to play it on the Series S/X. The quality just won't be as good as the actual Series S/X version.

    If it's not backwards compatible, then it won't be possible to play it on a Series X with a disc or with a digital copy.

    Backwards compatibility

    Unfortunately, there are no more backward compatibility developments for Xbox One. The team responsible for the feature is now working on implementing it on Xbox Series X, being launched later this year. It is believed - but not yet confirmed - that the
    back-compatibility feature on Series X will permit any game from any previous Xbox generation to be played on the console natively. We should hear more in the coming months, but if it's currently back-compatible on Xbox One, it will be on Xbox Series X.
