plug and charge cable not working

Since the day I bought it, my plug and charge cable has been having issues.

Whenever I plug it into the controller, with the battery pack installed, the light of the charger blinks green once, and then just stay's off. it will turn the controller itself on though, so I can still play, but it won't charge the battery pack.

Normally I would suspect the batterypack itself (which was included with the cable), but sometimes when I try to plug in the cable it will work, and when the battery is full it will work perfectly until empty again. But since it's so incredibly inconsistent
I would like to know if there is something to be done about this problem.

I've been trying to read up on the problem through multiple forums, and I've been seeing a lot of people with the same, and also different problems with the charge cable. And in my opinion it really looks like a poorly designed product. And it could easily
be a reason people could lose trust in the company who makes it (in this case microsoft).

Charger cord not doin it's job

When my charger cable stopped working I just bought the charge kit with the charger that plugs into a wall. I'm still using the original battery.

 

Charging issues with controller after Feb controller update.

*I'm in the preview program so my current build is not the same as public but I'm 100% sure that its the xbox charge and play kit cable.

I have 2 xbox brand charge and play kit cables. When i plug them in, in my current build, my controller stops working entirely but the orange light is charging.

I have three 15 foot mini USB cables from Ebay and when i plug those in, I have no issues at all.

Try another cable and comment back please.
