Pls fix 8007007A issues

Any support people have an update other than the usual programmed bs solutions and responses for us poor slobs that can't sign into live on the 360 for 5 days now? we can't download profiles either with error 8007007A telling us to beat it and go get
a Sony. There's been plenty of posts around here for someone to piece it together and fix it by now you would think

UPDATE: Issue is fixed.

Turns out microsoft, for some reason or another, deleted my hotmail alias, so it didnt work for signing in, but could still receeve emails.

So the alias was removed, i can now log into my xbox correctly, but now EVERY.SINGLE.ACCOUNT associated with my hotmail.com email address no longer works.

i asked them if they could repopulate the alias so i could change my email address, and forward my important mails (like my god damned flight tickets which are now gone) but i've had ZERO response as soon as i said i could log into my xbox now.

thanks microsoft, problem *** fixed i guess...

This was posted a few days ago, support please look into this . It's a widespread problem on the 360 for almost a week now.

 

it is not going to be fixed, the code is years old

 

I agree with ZREXMike, The code 8007007A in old, I searched post's back to 2008 and it has never been solved for any x-box people.

 

Sony has their ISSUES also and they have several more millions of accounts to deal with than Microsoft, just saying. Have friends with Sony they aren't any quicker...

 

ugh hopefully the error code itself isn't the problem and just comes up cause it doesn't know Wtf is going on. Thers so many people with this problem right now I can't see them willing to lose so many customers. but maybe I'm naive.

 

If you still have a profile on your console, it will work now.

If, like me, you've followed Support's instructions to check billing, clear cache and re-download your profile which first deletes the existing one and then fails, you're screwed. They just don't seem to care.

My advice is buy a PS4

 

mother $#@! I had my profile backed up on a thumb drive but it got deleted while trying to download my profile back onto the console hard drive from what I've read you can't download from a friends console without the error either.

 

Correct, I believe if it fails on one console it will fail on all consoles.
