    It's been eight months. I would like my "all in one" to stream from network already.

    i have adapted, i have Plex server streaming to a Chromecast that is currently plugged into my Xbox, and use the Plex app to navigate and control the media, so much better than using the 360. can't wait until a Plex app is released for the X1.

    An update at the bottom says it's not actually made by PLEX, even though it's PLEX. They've outsourced the development of their own app. Interesting...

    Plex app has many different developers, so it is not the first app of theirs that has been outsourced afaik.

    But this is great news, and will, if everything works right, make the Xbox One a really good media player.

    Been using plex a long time, and it is brilliant PLEX media streaming app coming to Xbox One :)

    Currently, the library of apps does not contain any streaming services, but in the coming weeks services like Plex will be coming to the Xbox One app store and when that happens, you should be able to stream from your Plex account to your console without
    having to download the physical file.
