    Plex app on Xbox introduced (again) a critical streaming bug during any 4K/HDR content transmission (even with the smallest size/bitrate).

    This is NOT happening with other Plex app (e.g. the WebOS Plex app on LG OLEDs) with the same Plex Media Server, and same contents, and it was demonstated by hundreds of users it's an issue of Xbox Plex app and Xbox Dashboard OS integration and development.

    The irony is that this bug is there since the beginning of Xbox Plex app, but it was somehow fixed on Spring 2019 and everything was working smoothly until somewhere in Fall 2019, when Xbox Plex app and/or Xbox Dashboard OS was updated and screwed this again.

    TL;DR Please, Microsoft Team, investigate the Xbox Plex app infinite Buffering issue when direct streaming/playing 4K/HDR contents with Plex Team and find a permanent solution ASAP.

    You did it in the past, you can do it again.

    Yeah. Bought an XB1X primarily to play 4K HDR PLEX content. Getting with PLEX to get this fixed would be really nice.

    Hdr washed out colors and dimmer during hdr content

    I found out the issue, Netflix always opens in HDR, when playing 4K content colors looks fine, but when playing HD content (in HDR) that's when colors are dull, I'm guessing this has to do with the xbox one upscaling that content to 4K. So I think the upscaling
    algorithm/process needs to be fixed.

    I use plex now. and it seems I hear now sound on all files played via dlna . your app was able to play most of them with sound but there were some where it failed. i still have impression even via plex that when TV streams it image is better when xbox
    or plex does streaming.

    4k movies should still be able to stream in other resolutions. What happens when you try to play it? After a few moments of buffering, it should lower the resolution automatically, in most apps. What app are you using to play the movie?
