Please update the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app to work with iOS 11

Microsoft, please update the Xbox 360 SmartGlass app to work with iOS 11. Currently it’s incompatible with iOS 11 and therefore can’t be downloaded from the App Store anymore.

Are you guys gonna update the Xbox Smartglass 360 app? It won't work with IOS 11

That is a good idea. I don't think customers should be alienated from Xbox services. However, this topic seems better suited to be posted at uservoice.xbox.com

That is a website for user feedback and, from what I've seen, Xbox listens and makes changes that gamers suggest there. So head over there and see if the idea has been suggested before posting it yourself. I'll vote for it!

Hello AhhItsFrankieG,

If you have the latest dashboard update, the Xbox Companion option has been changed to Smartglass. This can be found in the same place where the Xbox Companion was in Settings > System > Console Settings > Connected Devices > Xbox SmartGlass Apps > On.

If your iPhone has the latest iOS 6.0, unfortunately the My Xbox LIVE application will not work as of yet (in terms of the smartglass functionality). They have not yet updated the application for iOS 6.0 support. This is being worked on and I'm sure it'll be
updated soon.

Confirmed, Zepp XO's fix worked for me as well. I had a system message from xbox live from 11/18 and deleted via smartglass for iOS. Now my xbox app for win10 opens up messages like a champ!

Doesn't mention size of app, but there is know way it is 8 GB. At least not for mobile devices, and, yes, Andoid and iOS are supported:

RP: The free Xbox One SmartGlass app is separate from the Xbox 360 app. The Xbox One SmartGlass app will be available for download this holiday on Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, iOS and Android devices.
