I wouldn't be upset personally if they did this but a lot of times you just have to deal with the fact that you missed out on something.

I can see how you can argue that I am late, however, I have two counter arguments.

First off, the game released in 2011 for PC and Xbox 360. In 2014, a year after the game was no longer available for purchase on PC, the pre-order content was released on the Xbox store.

Releasing game content on one platform a year after you stop distributing the game itself on another seems pretty late to me, and thus I would argue that Fable III already has a precedent for receiving content late.

Secondly, if you view my topic only in the context that I’m talking about a nine year old game, sure I guess I’m late.

However, there has not been a shortage of people since the game’s release who have been unable to receive their Coin Golf Weapons, despite unlocking them correctly in the app, and none of them have ever reported that being out early got them
anywhere.

Furthermore, I provide the context in my topic that I am writing this now specifically because there can no longer be a pretence that this app works as intended, since it can no longer be downloaded on Windows 8, and it does not work on Windows
10.

Thus it can be argued that I’m right on time.

I’m also not asking for miracles here.

These are items that are in the game, the work there is done.

Modders have been able to verify that the items can be unlocked in the game the same way any of the pre-order content can, meaning if someone at Microsoft where to dissect one of the pre-order item DLCs and change a few lines of code, you’d have
a brand new DLC with the content I’m asking for.

I’d gladly pay a dollar a pop to have these in my game finally.

Now i know some people like to collect eveything as possable but trying to do it years later when northing been done on the game then would be no point to update it so sadly you came to a bit to late sorry.

I get that and it's a valid point.

However, there are posts dating back to 2013 of people not being able to unlock these weapons in the game, and reports that, like me, it hindered their enjoyment and ability to feel like they completed the game.

It would just be a really cool thing for them to do for the fans, and then there would be closure for those affected.
