I haven't had this issue, but doesn't mean it isn't happening to people, try the following as others have said it works:

1) Go to power settings and switch to energy saving mode.

2) Turn your Xbox off, unplug for 10 seconds.

3) Turn Xbox back on.

4) Sign out then sign back in to your account on your Xbox.

5) Don't forget to switch back to instant on mode if you wish.

No lag or sign-in issues on either of my X Box One s. Used to have lag and syncing issues on my girlfriends X1, but since upgrading from the 1.5Mbs to 12Mbs package, that has gone away. I would bet it has something to do with either your I.S.P. or home network.

So one would think, but If it were simply a software issue, then one would have expected it to have been corrected long, long ago. Which makes me think otherwise.

Which leads me to think that Farscape's theory makes the most sense. Hardware would cause everyone to experience it, Software wouldn't have been too difficult to fix. Access delays
due to network issues...

I rarely to never have sign in issues, although the sidebar lag I do have. But it's not horrible.

I am not that good at computer stuff, but my Side Bar works fine most of the time.

I am not sure why it helps, but restarting my console when I turn on my Xbox One makes a big difference in preventing the slow Side Bar issue.

I noticed that the Slow Side Bar issue happends more frequently when I do not restart my console after turning it on.

I personally have not encountered the slow sign-in or sidebar issues.

it is usually down to network issues or isp, the sidebar when connected to the net has to refresh information all the time, i have never had slow sign in issues or sidebar lag, but a friend of mine has had this issue due to his broadband, he changed it and
everything was running smoothly again.

Please update and fix this issue.
