    Please Try a Different Payment Option


    Hi all,

    When looking to purchase one months gold subscription on my Xbox One this evening I kept getting the error message "Please try a different payment option: The payment option is used on as many accounts as it is allowed to be. Remove it from those accounts and
    try again, or add a different payment option."

    Now, I am 100% certain this is the only account using these debit card details. I've done all the routine checks to see if anyone else may have been using my card but my transaction history is clear, and there is nothing showing up on my internet banking either.
    It's strange as I subscribed to EA access only the other day and everything was woking fine then.

    I've also tried adding my PayPal account and trying to use that, but I just get the same error message.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Sorry to hear it. You are showing as only having a silver account. If it should be gold then give phone support a call and they should be able to help you sort everything out. Here's the number for UK phone support. 020 7365 9792 or 0800 587 1102 FREE

    Hi,

    I got a free month trial of xbox live with Overwatch on 06/06/2016 and had selected it to auto renew every month.. On 06/07/2016 i got an email from Microsoft saying that theyre charging me for this month, however going on to Overwatch today (08/07/2016)
    it says that i dont have xbox live and need to purchase it again, it then says i own a free trial which renews on 06/08/2016 which i cant end the subscription for. I try and purchase a month of xbox live and it says "Please try a different payment option".

    I dont know what to do and not really enjoying it if Microsoft are gonna take £5.99 out of my account to actually not have Xbox Live, is there anyway i can stop the free trial subscription and just continue with what im already paying for?

    Have you made sure your Xbox One's region matches the region you're currently in ?

    Having a different region than your profile or creditcard is registered to can result in that error being given
