Please tidy up the dlc Store Front

One of my major gripes with the LIVE store on the 360 was the dlc section being overwhelmed by those inane Rockband, Rocksmith etc micro dlcs on an almost weekly basis. Fast forward to the Xbox One and the same thing is now happening. It puts me right
off using the dlc section when I have to sift through all that garbage whenever I decide to have a look at all the new releases.

Surely it can't be too difficult to allocate a dedicated area for any game that receives a huge amount of weekly or monthly dlc?

I am going to get mine digitally, if for nothing else then to keep the front room tidy

LOL! I agree. Those games should have their own content sub-folder. It really makes a mess of browsing the dlc section.

 

It's simply an unnecessary pain up the backside. I get people enjoy these games, but I've never understood why everyone is forced to sift through all this dlc. Some weeks it can take up the entire new release section pushing other dlc down into the bowels
of LIVE.

 

yep i noticed that too, went into all dlc and had to scroll through many many many rockband, dance and fantasia dlc to get to see what other new stuff is available.

 

But who decides what counts as "huge' for example Battlefield 4 has loads of DLC, from map packs all the way down to unlock codes, should that get it's own store front?

I agree it can seem cluttered at times, but it's not that bad,.

 

Whilst I agree we sometimes get inundated with micro releases for the likes of BF4, AC etc, it's not done on a near weekly basis. Those usually hit when a game is first released or when a map pack comes. Rocksmith etc are in a different stratosphere. The
only non music game I've seen come close to those types of games was that Gotham City Imposter game.

It would make sense to have a sub folder or store for games with an abundance of weekly dlc. I'm sure it would also make life easier for those people who actually buy it too.

 

Perhaps they could implement an option to hide DLC for specific games.
