please someone.. anyone.. help me.

A month ago I realized I forgot the password to my xbox account and that the only thing that knew my password was my controller. I tried the normal "Forgot password" option on the website... I got the code emailed and then was prompted with a "2 step verification" text. Problem is the phone number is no longer good. Look, I got covid... It cost me my job... I had to let my phone service expire.

So I read what to do next. I was prompted to do a "Security reset" which is a mandatory 30 days. I patiently waited the 30 days. The only thing that has happened since the 30 days is my controller now logs back into my xbox one again. No email from microsoft on how to fix the original problem which is my phone number change. Ive tried chatting with support but English isnt their native tongue so its been impossible trying to explain anything to them.

I literally have access to my emails, credit cards used on file, everything.... Ive had this account for 17 years. to not have it means I have to walk away from Xbox and find some other way to game.

Please, there has to be someone out there that can help me.. Im not asking for much, just a simple change to my phone number so I can keep plugging along or whatever need be done.. . Life really sucks right now and to have this taken away really hurts.

Sorry guys, I got it sorted out.

I have high functioning Autism.. I can repair appliances like no other and do high level math... But Im not good at anything else in life. After having a friend come look at my situation he found the Email from MS with a link giving me a new lease on life with my Xbox until the new one is actually on the shelf ready to be bought...

Sorry to bother you all... Was getting so upset at the prospect of losing my account..

You should be able to recreate the WLID, although I have no idea how this'll effect the account since it is banned. It is how you fix it with active accounts.

Go to the police? Sounds like a serious breach of privacy aswell as attempted theft of your intellectual property..

You have his details, request that the police look into the matter and explain to them you have tried communicating with his parents and have been unsuccessful so far. You are seriously concerned for your personal wellbeing and your family's.

They would only have to pay the guy a 2 minute visit and i bet it doesn't happen again..

That or you and your older brother go pay him a visit some time..

Suspension length can vary based on the severity of the issue and any previous enforcement actions. So getting an enforcement action based on LFG doesn't always result in a permanent ban. If you haven't had suspensions in the past, then it was most likely
permanent because as you said, it looks like you were looking to trade accounts. Whether or not you meant it, things have to be written in a way that can't be mistaken.

But as you've already submitted a case review and the enforcement team upheld their decision, there is nothing else you can do.
