If you already have a Gamertag that you've used elsewhere, then it sounds like you may be signing in with the incorrect account on your PC.

Is your profile saved on an Xbox 360 console? If so, sign into it and check your Account information there. It will have the correct email listed for the Microsoft Account.

The difference can be as small as typing in .com instead of .co.uk, or if there is a misspelling somewhere. Let us know if you're able to check for that. =)

Have tried what you suggested but nothing happens when I hover over the name.

Sorry to hear you're having issues with your account.

You should be able to sign out of your current account by going to the Start page, clicking the profile in the top-right corner, then selecting sign-out. Then sign back in using your regular Microsoft Account. This will also be the account that is signed in
for the Games App.

You may also want to post on the Windows 8 section of
answers.microsoft.com. They may have some more specialized suggestions for Windows there.

Have tried your suggestion but when I start Solitaire it says I am signed on as - don't understand how this can be so.

Sorry but I was able to sign out. When I sign in again using my Microsoft Account and password it then comes up that I am signed in as BossyYeit94 and cannot understand why this is so.
