    Please separate Discussion from Support


    I think we need support on a completely different page or sub-forum.

    If you notice every discussion that we try to have gets pushed to page 3 or 4 in a day as most people post their support questions in discussion. It's killing any type of conversation. I know they meant well and tried to make it easier when they designed
    it the way they did, but it's not working, at least not here which I think is the busiest section on the forums.

    There is a new console coming out and to build hype you need your own website to be easy to use and a place where we can talk about it.

    This is actually driving me cracked.

    For some reason people don't see the discussion/support tab at the top of every forum which to me screams out poor design,that or a lot of people are idiots.

    I'm with you though,it needs to be changed.

    I don't think they care about them either. It's a shame. You would think that a product would want their website serviceable.

    It would also be nice if they developed a forum app for the Xbox and tied the messages from the forum to your Xbox Live account. It appears that a lot of people make a post and then never return/respond to the people trying to assist them. It does get frustrating.

    Also if there was the ability to move posts to the correct forum would be helpful.

    Just my opinion.

    PM's do, but it would be nice if a reply notification from the forums went to your Xbox also. It seems as though people post and forget about checking for a response.

    Totally agree! Never a truer word spoken Please separate Discussion from Support :(

    Time was when a core group of dwindling 'community' users would reply in kind, with a contentious topic or two even opening up a can of worms. At the very least, this would inject a momentary spasm of life into an otherwise desolate hub. Lately though, it
    just seems that every other post is a complaint or a cry for help which usually leads nowhere - pushing the best part of any 'discussion' into a black void. Old habits die hard, so I've left the support tab bookmarked, but it does honestly become dispiriting
    and pointless to make a return visit.

    It doesn't help that my interest in Xbox "exclusives" has waned since entering the realm of [PS4 Pro]-enhanced games - seriously, where's *our* equivalent of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy? Rise of the Tomb Raider came closest, but that was TWO YEARS AGO! With
    a plethora of oher choices available to me, I never thought I'd see the day when I took leave of Xbox. But sadly, with only remaining preorders for Dragon's Dogma DA and Wolfenstein II on the horizon, I can't see the point in choosing Xbox as my preferred
    platform in future Please separate Discussion from Support :(

    Nope, not planning on leaving the Xbox fold anytime soon, but I will hold off on buying the One X until there's a limited edition or qualifying reason to buy it. When I posted earlier, I neglected to mention that I've actually decided to transfer my preorder
    of Far Cry 5 [Father Edition] across to PS4, because now that I've got a little more 'powaaar' to play with (at no additional cost to my current setup), then why wouldn't I? Any reservations held about the inferior Dual Shock are immaterial now that I've spent
    some hands-on time with it, and it's *nearly* as good as my preferred Xbox pad!

    But really, for me as GAMEPLAYER first and foremost (as opposed to a platform-hugging or PC-specific nerd), then I simply *must* follow the trail of GAMES... and that's why I haven't turned my back on Xbox, but will instead focus on boosting my trophy count
    (even though a hefty gamerscore counts for more - but let's face it, once you've reached a certain milestone then it just becomes busywork, as opposed to a meaningful pastime). I'm looking forward to the inevitable Halo 6, and hopefully next year's [E3] brings
    a little more One X-citement, but in the meantime it's just playing NEW GAMES because I can Please separate Discussion from Support :)

  14. Trouble is it's hard to get any support questions answered in a timely fashion on the support forums as no one, not even ambassadors frequent those forums, and by the time someone does the OP has already moved on to either google for answers, purchased another
    whatever, or has tossed the thing through the TV.

    Not that anyone notices but there isn't enough commenters in all the xbox forums to warrant having muti tabs.

    @ BluSwirl, I hear ya. I've owned all PS systems except for PS4 but I will buy it as soon as the new GoW comes out.

    That dual shock control is good except for the thumbsticks. Having them directly across from each other cramps my thumbs. That's one of the main reasons I prefer Xbox. It has the perfect feeling controller which is super important.
