Please remove security proofs

I understand stand it is a simple request to simply type in a code, but for me and many others we have been long time account users and my email address has changed, if their was even a simple ability to change the existing email address I would defiantly
do so but I get this crap about having to wait 30 days. I pay $10 a month to use your service why after signing in just fine for 3 years do I have this problem. I shouldn't have to delete my file or clear my cache. I should be able to pick it up and play like
I have for years, that's why I pay u. Please remove it , I admit its a good idea , but myself and others can agree its probably caused more problems than intended. Thank you

I am asked to enter my security proofs everytime I log in!

Please be careful with your account when you remove your security Proof. You don't want it to get Stolen!

1) This isn't exactly the place to ask administrators and representatives at Microsoft to change the functions and abilities of Xbox Live. They do skim the forums for consistent complaints and reports in order to better the service, but they aren't going
to directly change their policies and conditions over they complaints of you and a handful of friends

2)I found the account proofs bothersome at first as well. However, as long as you enter a proof and contact a representative about adding a second e-mail to your account, you really shouldn't have a problem. I used to get random notifications to enter proofs
and then have to re-boot my console to sign in, but ever since I got on the phone with a representative and went through the process of adding my land-line and back-up e-mail, I have never had the need to re-enter it. Just do the same, and you'll wave ta-ta
to those proof pop-ups in no time.

All you have to do is comply Once... You never have to see the proofs again,,, if you trust the console.

No need for a call to support or a reboot. No need to delete a profile or clear the cache either... Just have the correct information No need to type a code evey time.

Please use the search function BH...... BTY, 10 dollars a month is way to much

 

@Bong, you'd be suprised. I was one of the unlucky ones, like BH here, who even though we entered the required proff, we were constantly bothered by repeating messages concerning verifying our accounts. I had a friend who experienced the same issue, and
he told me to do exactly what I had mentioned above: Enter the proof again. Contact support. Add and verify a second e-mail. Voilá, problem solved.

Don't take away proofs.

I've had to enter them several times over the different accounts I use on my console. I'd rather have a hard time logging in, than have someone get lucky & steal my account & go on a shopping spree.

 

1. Why are you paying $10 a month to use Xbox Live? I pay around 3.25 a month.

2. Add an alias to your account and all emails will go to the alias and you use it as a proof. Thats what I did when I lost access to my email address.

If you don't use a profile for several months (like my 4th alt profile, that sees very little action) you will be prompted for proofs again. It happens. Happening on your main profile, yeah, not that often, but it does happen even with a 'trusted' console.

 

Why exactly does one need a 4th profile you never use?? The other 3 or guest accounts where unavailible I assume?

That is more of an issue IMO.... You not being you online could cause problems.... And here You are.

 

Co-op ^_^ The one in question "TaterDad" was going to be my main. Until I tried to attach my offline account to it oh so many years ago when I first got my Wifi connector. System tried to delete my GS So I ended up with this name. I recovered TaterDad later
and used it for co-op with the kids before they got their own accounts. Account #2 "GameKrib TATER" was a joke/bandwagon account stuff from another gaming community. I had 100% completion on it for a little while (SotN & Pacman DX) for lols. Everyone on the
other site was making GameKrib names for themselves. It's the one I use now for Co-op with the smallest of the Tater tots, and to see what's being advertised to Silver players. #3 is my "leave me alone" profile. I use it to play online when I don't want to
be bothered with my friends list. Yes, I could 'appear offline' but screw it. I'm currently contemplating #5 to do another 100% complete tag. ^_^

TL;DR

I have multiple accounts because I can.

 

Imagin what would happen if someone called support claiming to be one of the accounts you just told us all about.

Without security some evil person may take advange of this situation........

This is EXACTLY why security is in place.,
