Please Please update your controller manual for the xbox one elite controller if you have ...

Ok i was lucky to purchase a xbox one elite controller i am really enjoying the controller however there where some learning issues.

First for everyone before they start complaining about there controller not working right there is a reason.

Here are the proper instructions for updating and using a elite controller

1. Go into Games & Apps

2. Select apps

3. Select System Settings it is a green icon with a gear on it.

4. once in settings go down the list until you see on the right side of your screen accessories click that and then select update make sure you have your controller charged or connected to usb.

5. Once updated install the xbox accessories app like the manual says that came with the controller

6. Once downloaded and installed run the app then run the name your controller

7. Once you have named your controller go into New configuration and name it for your game (example: minecraft Halo 5 ETC..)

8. now once you have named your configuration click on your configuration and go into button mapping

Now this is where your controller manual needs to be updated gamers are going to be returning these controllers by the truck load if they don't listen to these instructions thinking there controllers are broken.

9. Once in button mapping press and hold the flipper on the bottom of the controller you want to use until you see a Trigger icon then a arrow pointing to a ?

10. Then press the button you want to attach the trigger to.

this needs to be updated in your instruction manual because your manual doesn't tell users to hold the flipper

Lost my paddle

Hi there. I have a Gears of War Elite Controller for Xbox One. I have lost a paddle. I can't live without these and this. Can I please purchase a replacement. I'll happily buy the set, I'd happily buy a full component replacement set if needed. Please tell
me I can buy replacements.

 

Elite Controller

I have an elite controller and I was wondering if instead of mapping the paddles to different buttons (or vice versa), could the paddles become their own independent buttons? For example I play Elite: Dangerous Horizons on Xbox One and I want to change
the controls without removing any current controls. If this is possible in the future as a Xbox update, I'm sure many players with this controller will use and purchase elite controllers for their games.
