Please MS, fix this new and weird issues.

Well, where to start?

Ever since the previous and recent update for the Preview program (which i am definitely dropping out off now) i experience these annoying issues with both controller and headset. I'll list the problems that i never used to have..and now they happen daily,
multiple times:

• While playing and talking to friends, the headset sound cuts off, cause guess what...the controller turned itself off for no reason and goes back on again. Sometimes it happens that it connects with the headset too, most of the time it doesn't and it requires
  me to turn the controller off/on once again.
  
• Or that all of a sudden while playing the controller just freezes, i can't do anything with it when that happens. It IS still powered on when that occurs though. Only way to fix this is removing the battery and putting it back in, power on the controller.
  
• Out of the blue for no reason my headset stops working, in the friends menu it says it can't find my headset. Dropping out/back in party usually fixes this.
  

Such a shame...cause all of the above, i never had that before. Was smooth sailing all the way. Any way to fix this myself or do i just wait for them to patch this?

Well here are some suggestions that may help you

-Try to change the batteries,this worked for some people, if this issue keeps happening after you changed the batteries,your controller may have a problem, send a ticket to the xbox support team and the specialists will help you

-If your controller freezes, it might be related to the wireless signal, try to turn on and turn off the controller each time this happens, if the problem persists, try to contact the xbox support team

-If your headset is having problems when connecting to groups, this may be because the hardware of your controller is outdated, try to connect the USB in your controller and on your xbox and try to update, if the problem persists, reply to me and i will
try to find another solution.

 

Well, i am using a battery pack, but i could try it with rechargables and see what happens. When the controller freezes, it is still on, but trying to turn the controller off doesn't work. Not by pressing and holding the X button on the controller, nothing
except taking out the battery pack and putting it back in. Sadly there is no update for the controller.

To be honest i don't think anything is the matter with the controller and headset, i think these updates did it, cause the exact same things are happening to my friends as well.

 

Have you tried updating your Pad? This sometimes fixes issues

I also have issues with my controller sometimes. Due to a bit of experimenting, I found that most of these issues come from an empty or faulty battery.

To check if batteries are really the cause of your trouble I suggest the following:

REMOVE all batteries from your controller.

When you say you have a battery pack, I assume you are referring to the battery pack of the Play&Charge kit. So you should also have a fairly long USB cable that came with the pack. But for this test, any Micro USB cable will do.

Get an USB power adapter or the charging cable from most modern smartphones (besides Apple that use their dock or lightning plug).

Connect your controller to the charging adapter with the USB cable. This will ensure that your controller is powered reliably all the time.

Check if the problems persist.

If there are still problems with your controller, try connecting the controller to the console with the cable.

If the problems go away, you might have a lot of wireless interference in your home. For example wireless baby monitors, wireless TV transmitters, microwave ovens or anything else that uses wireless.

Try to find the device that causes the interference, and try to replace it.
