Please let me change the default language of a game INDEPENDENTLY of the Windows language

Please try changing the language of the game through the accessibility settings menu. Tap the first menu settings then click the Accessibility menu, go to visual language then you will find the system language is the default language. Let me know if that sorts out the issue.

Did you change the Display Language in your Windows settings?

Is this happening with all your notifications or just with the Xbox App?

Please, follow these steps:

Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region.

Choose a language from the Windows display language menu, or, next to Preferred Languages, select Add a language to install the one you want if it isn't listed.

Usually games are installed on your console on the same language of the country/region that your console and Xbox account are set. But please don't change your account or console country/region to one that you're not living in because this can cause your account to get banned. Instead, try to change only the game language:

To change the game language, first navigate to the game’s title on the Home screen.

Then press the Menu button on your controller and select Settings.

From here, choose Language and Region and then Change Language.

Select your desired language and press Done.

The game will download the language pack and will be set to that language.

Go to

Control Panel-> Clock, Language, and Region-> Language

1. If the language is not in the list:

a. Click “Add a Language”

b. If the language has more than one dialect, double click to see dialects.

c. Double click to add a language to the list.

2. To set you display language:

a. Click the language in the list that you want to be your primary display language

b. Click “move up” to move it to the top of the list.

At this point you should be able to relaunch the app in the new display language

· If the language was not installed before installing the app, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the app

· Display language controls the display for many areas of Windows so when you log in again it will change the display language for all of Windows.

· There is no way to change the display language of the game separately from the rest of Windows.

I have a friend who purchased the game in Brazil, by default the language was Spanish when they played(their xbox language was set to English), in order for them to change it to Portuguese (the other language on the disk), they have to change the Language
for their Xbox to Portuguese.



Now in your case, if your default language is English on your xbox and you're still getting the game in Spanish, then maybe Spanish is the only language that's on the game disk. There's no option in the game for changing the language.
