I've been paying for gold monthly and now its run out it tells me to add a code so when i do it says that i already have gold any ideas how i can solve this? I can go on youtube and stuff yet cant go into an online game or party someone help please thanks

adding a code will just extend the xbox live. I do mine yearly, I used 3 yearly codes in one go so I do not have to worry about live until 2017

If you pay monthly you probably want to cancel the monthly payments first, make sure Microsoft know to stop taking money off you monthly and just redeem your Xbox Live Codes for 3 months or 12 months etc. through the Xbox Live service.

Each time you redeem a code no matter if Xbox Live has or not expired, all it do is extend your current subscription from its end date to the new date (example live expiring 3 dec 2014, year code entered to extend, new date of expiry 3 dec 2015)

I buy xbox live gold membership for 3 moths.When i go to redeem code i says to me that i dont have enough information and then goes out BILLING INFORMATION.while I tried to solve it did not work there is not enough letters for postal code, dont know what
is billing adress and when I go to the state ,there is no state i need.

can anyone help me i've I think i've been banned.

This is what I think is what happened. I was plying one last crucible match (pvp match) on destiny and when I finished I turned my xbox off and went to sleep the next morning I couldn't talk to anyone in a party or send anyone a message on xbox, but when
I tried to send a message to one of my friends it said you cant send a message due to a bad behaviour and think this is because got mad that they lost and reported me. does anyone know how to fix my problem or how I can get unbanned?

You can follow the instructions here & ask for a case review but chances are you will have to wait out the suspension.You can also check there to see if any enforcement action has been taken against your account.

Communication suspensions are typically 24 hour,7 or 14 days long.

If you're paying via a card - check that the card is still valid.

Also some companies will continue to use an old card past it's expiry date (because it's been validated and used previously) for some time after it's expired. Some companies will give you a grace period where the first request to your bank is declined, and
may try again in a few days, hence why you might still 'have' XBL Gold.

If you want to go to paying via codes only, ensure you remove your card via microsoft account, and then try the code again.

No one really seems to know for sure. Best option is to just keep on playing...try different game modes, maybe re-run some events, make sure your popularity is high, etc. It'll pop eventually.

Ok...nevermind, I got it now. Apparently you have to now highlight the text, click the link button, and fill out the popup window that opens up. Dunno what was so hard about using tags. That's MS for ya, I guess..... one click and have it now require three. :-\

Some games are region locked. In order to download them, your account region has to match your physical location. You would actually need to migrate your region to make it match, just changing a setting on the console will not fix your account region. https://live.xbox.com/AccountMigration
