Please help!

Hello, first let me start by saying that this is my forum only account. My gamer tag is completely seperate.

The issue is with my online status. ill try to articulate below;

My girlfriend recently noticed that my gamer tag was "last seen 1hr ago" quite frequently, even when I'm at work. Now, the weird thing is - It never pops up online.

i called MS support who confirmed I had not been online at the times I was "last seen". However, I changed my password anyway as a precaution. However it's still happening. I'm sat here with her now away from my own console and it's saying i was last seen
1 hr ago!!

on a side note, I don't use MS email, Xbox.com or any apps using that password. It's a pretty much completely random password used only on the console itself. Additionally nobody uses my home wifi but me and its secure. I ONLY use my home network for Xbox
- nothing else. Not even browsing, believe it or not.

Can an anyone shed any light or has anyone experienced similar?

I have just set up my xbox one and the sound doesn't sound right. I have it on a 5.1 dolby system it's really odd on call of duty advanced warfare the centre speaker works during cinematic scenes but has no volume during game play it sounds ok and the gun and voice effects come mainly from the front two speakers but that can't be right????

Has anyone else got call of duty set up on 5.1 dolby system?

i dont have cod..

first i would go into settings and controller and update it.. (idk why) but somewhere along the line an update for headsets had something with dolby 5.1 in it.

i dont have cod so i cant say how my 5.1 sound bar works but the way i recall it is.. the developer sets the standard or output channels.. this is why forza worked next to polk audio to "dial in sound" its not really a microsoft thing as much as cod development.

i would check settings on xb1 to see if it is in dolby 5.1 or stereo
i would also check the settings in game to seewhat they are.

depending on your sound bar check and see i fit has a setting for analog or coax it may also have different modes.. game,movie,stereo,cinamatic each one does alter how sound is projected

Doesn't the One stay on to update games in the background? If it does then could your activity simply be the One updating your games?

 

Hey, thanks for the reply - but nope, it's set to power off completely so when it's off - it's off.

 

Have you got the xbox app on your PC? and therefor have a virus that sets it to online? Just speculating don't know if this has ever happened.

 

Have you got the Xbox SmartGlass on your phone?

 

Can you set you to on and offline on your phone? I know you can't on my iphone but not sure about windows phones or android.

 

Don't think you can but I thought if you were signed in on your phone it might somehow show up if other people are looking at your profile I'm probably way off though lol

 

Reason I said it for the PC one is you can get if your on and offline on that, but don't think you can on the phones, although you never know, and certainly worth a look.

 

Wow, thanks for all of the responses guys but no as I said in my initial post I don't use apps and don't use my home wifi for anything other than Xbox. I also don't own a PC.
