Please help - Xbox one disconnect problems

Hi all - can anybody help me?

I bought an Xbox One two weeks ago and have struggled to play it through disconnections from servers.

I have two games, Fifa 15 & Destiny and both are unplayable - I last a couple of minutes playing online in both games before being disconnected from the servers.

I don't get disconnected from Xbox Live however, just the servers. I went out today and bought an ethernet cable to see if playing wirelessly was the problem but I still get disconnected on both games.

I'm really not sure what the problem is, if it's my xbox, internet, router?

I know both games have server issues but I'm fairly sure it's a problem my end & not theirs - my friends can play both games yet I struggle to reach half-time on Fifa or complete a single mission on Destiny.

If anyone could help I'd be eternally grateful!

Xbox connection issues HELP!!!

Why do I only disconnect from an xbox live party when a certain person joins my party? It also causes whatever game I'm playing to lag and sometimes disconnect. Really frustrating. We both have open NAT types. Otherwise connection is flawless. Even have gone into my router settings and opened all necessary ports. PLEASE HELP!!!

Well, you can go into your Xbox One settings under network and start by using the detailed network statistics feature. It will give us a better idea of whether the issue is with your connection or not.

I should also add I'm on Talk Talk internet and I have a DSL 3680 router.

 

how is the NAT? Google search shows a lot of people having intermittent connectivity with the Talk Talk equipment.

not getting any ideas, do you know anyone that is tech savvy? if so, you might want to check to see if they can do a packet capture to see what the issue is.

 

I rang my ISP and they suggested an engineer at a £50 cost - would rather that be a last resort!

It's literally only game servers I get disconnected from, not Xbox Live. It's also very sudden... no lag and then an instant disconnection and kicked from the game (Fifa & Destiny)
