Please Help!! Xbox One Controller Stopped Functioning Windows 10

My Xbox One controller has stopped working recently, while plugged in if i press the home button it will blink several times but will not become solid, a couple times windows says it doesn't recognize the device, but it doesn't even do that anymore, there
is nothing in device manager referring the device and i have reinstalled the drivers, it works on my xbox one. i haven't done anything that i can recall to make this happen i was playing Black Ops 3 when it just went off.

Not able to register my controller due to half of serial number being scratched out.

I purchased my xbox one system brand new a couple of months ago. Recently, the controller that came with my xbox one system RB has stopped functioning. I have tried to get a replacement accessory but the serial number on my controller is partially scratched
out (I don't know how this happened), I still have a warranty on my system, but I am not able to do anything to replace my controller. Please help.

You shouldn't need a passcode to connect the controller to a Windows 10 PC. Please take a look at this guide for help with pairing problems and be sure to check your computer for any updates.

No, you are part of the problem. Stop saying its a driver issue. The drivers are fine and all controllers work for other games apart from the xbox app. Please stop with this nonsense.

You can't, unfortunately.

The Xbox One S controller's bluetooth function was mainly designed for Windows 10 PC users, as Windows 10 (with the Anniversary update) has the necessary drivers to properly interface with the controller, most likely to coincide with the recent "Play Anywhere"
feature for Xbox One.

With that in mind, Microsoft did not release bluetooth controller drivers for other platforms, so there is no official support of the Xbox One S controller outside of Windows 10.
