Please help! XBOX One Console issues!

While I was watching TV it turned itself on. It seemed weird, but the controller was near me, so I just assumed I accidentally hit the button. I didn't worry about turning it off, bc I planned on getting on soon anyways.

When I went to play, I turned the TV to the correct input, but there was no signal. I then tried to connect my wireless controller and it would flash like it was trying to connect, but never would.

The light was on the Xbox, like it was on, so I tried turning it off. When I pressed the power button, it would make the "turning off" beep, but the light would never go off. I either have to press and hold the power button, or disconnect it from power to turn
it off.

I have tried resetting both ends of the power and both ends of the HDMI cable with a different HDMI cable as well. I even tried doing a hard reboot of holding the power and eject button (like their webpage suggested) but it would never do a 2nd beep like it
said it should.

I have also tried 2 different controllers. Neither would connect wirelessly. I even tried connecting them to the Xbox with the USB cable, but they still would flash several times and turn off, never connecting.

So while the power button/light says it is on, the rest of the devices I try to connect it to, acts like the console is off.

Any ideas???

Please Help, Headset Issue

Hi.

So, to begin, I got an Xbox One not too long ago and I bought a wireless Turtle Beach headset for it. I could hear everything online: game audio, my friends talking. But they couldn't hear me. They can see my mic lighting up but no voice volume can be heard on their end. Which is weird, because when I send a voice message they can hear that just fine. So it's clearly not a mic issue. But I thought it was so I ended up returning my wireless headset and going back to a wired one to see if that would be better and fix my problem. It didn't, so clearly at this point I'm pissed off. Especially because I wanted to be wireless. So at this point I'm thinking it has to be an Xbox setting, right? Nope. I've checked every single setting imaginable on this trash Windows 8-style dashboard (my God, why did they ever get rid of the 360 layout?). Anyway, it wasn't a privacy or audio setting or anything. I've updated my controller, I've assigned a headset and controller to my gamertag, I've hard reset the entire Xbox. I've literally done 99% of anything all of you on IGN boards could ever recommend me to do to try and fix the issue. But I'm hoping there's someone in the world who can give me advice and find that 1% that I haven't tried.The only time the mic doesn't work is just when I try to use game or party chat to talk to people. I can hear game audio on Blops 3 just fine and the people talking online, but not a single soul can hear me and I'm ready to break the goddamn Xbox. Could it be a software issue? Is that the problem? Because I can't think of anything else in this world that it could be. I work for Microsoft inside of Best Buy so I got the One for free because of my position, so I honestly shouldn't complain (though it is a refurb one because companies are cheap). I'm at the point where I'm ready to just give this Xbox back and buy my own. Does anyone have *any* input on this at all? Anyone have the same experience? I'm all out of ideas. Please show me the light before I go crazy. This is one of the most frustrating things I've ever experienced in my lifetime of playing games online. I can't even talk to damn friends smh. I've googled the hell out of this and the internet has literally no fix, which blows my mind. Never thought I'd say that I couldn't find something on Google. I'm hoping there's a person on here who is a brainiac on this. This is my last resort.
