So two days ago everything was fine. Yesterday i went and got madden 15 ultimate came home and installed it and played a little. Put Ghosts back in and tried to play multiplayer and the connecting to xbox live message box pops up and takes a couple min then
the error message pops up. please check callofduty.com/ghosts/status box. its been doing this all night to this morning. In settings/network my nat is open and i have all the xbox live ports forwarded (i have verizon fios) and i also forwarded 3075 and 3076

i dont know whats wrong, hope someone can help, thanks in advance...

The Network Test will also inform you if your NAT is set to Moderate or Strict.

joining game and party!

Hi, Me and my friend can not join each other, we both have OPEN NAT.
we play cod ghosts. This is very annoying. any help?

Looks like you've posted this a couple of hours ago so I don't know if you are back up and running yet. According to the web link you provided it seems the service is up and running. Had you checked the site to see if it was down earlier?

Guys for the record I had this problem before. I had OPEN in the xbox one panels, and Moderate under ghosts. Here is what I did on my Motorola gateway/router for uverse:

Under Nat/Gaming I enabled this rule and pointed it towards my xbox one (XBOX-SYSTEMOS) which gets an IP from DHCP:

XBox Live 360 TCP/UDP: 3074,88

XBOX-SYSTEMOS

Then I added this rule manually:

Xbox Live ONE TCP/UDP: 3075

XBOX-SYSTEMOS

Stopped COD ghosts, restarted COD Ghosts, went to multiplayer, then xbox live. BAM, open nat.

Fixed my issues, hope that helps. If you need screenshots can assist.

This is an old thread. The port needed for Ghosts has changed since this thread started.

You now need to forward port 3076 to open the NAT in Ghosts.

If you are still having problems opening the NAT after forwarding port 3076 you should start a new thread and give more information like the make and model number of your router.

I have the same problem guys. Open on live & strict on Ghosts. Also I get the your network is behind a cone NAT.

Hi, i have open nat on dasboard but behind cone nat and moderate nat in cod ghosts. I see that opening a certain port will stop this, but do i manually have to open all ports for xbox one first as i tried to open the port mentioned and i then got you are
behind a port restricted nat. I have spent more time messing with this than actually playing. So what should it actually say after doing mp test obviously not cone.
