    so I recently bought an xbox one the assassins creed edition and it comes with one month free gold trial. I didn't want to use it until today my friend let me borrow cod aw so I put the code in where it says use a code and it tells me that I have already
    had gold and that I should give it to a friend. Then it also say the current profile is not allowed to play on xbox live. The thing is I have never had gold on xbox one. I've had it on the 360 but that was a while ago. Can I not use the trial for the xbox
    one because it would be useless if I can't use them. Then I thought maybe it's not only me but I looked it up and I saw that people that had xbox gold on the 360 then switched to xbox one and said that the 14 day trials worked for them so I'm in a pickle right
    now. Does this only work for accounts that are brand new or even if you already had gold before on 360? Sorry if this questions sounds kinda dumb. Hopefully somebody here can help Please help Xbox live trial :D

    These trial codes are indeed only intended for accounts you had never had a gold membership before. But you may have the luck that entering the code on xbox.com instead with your console may work for you and gives you the one month but there is no guarantee.

    For new Microsoft/Xbox accounts, if xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial codes could be used/sold as xbox game pass 14 days trial codes or xbox live gold 14 days trial codes?

    Because a 'xbox games pass ultimate 14 days trial code' equals a 'xbox game pass 14 days trial code + xbox live gold 14 days trial code', so for new Microsoft/Xbox accounts, a 'xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial codes' could be used/sold as 'xbox game
    pass 14 days trial code' or 'xbox gold live 14 days trial code' , right?

    The Xbox Live Trial codes are available when you purchase games or console bundles. The prepaid code for the free trial can be a 2, 3 or 14 day Xbox Live Gold trial membership. To know more about Xbox Live Free Trial
