Please help with a storage question on my xbox 360s

Hi, I purchased an XBOX 360 S Model 1438 at a yard sale. I am trying to sell it on ebay but I have no idea how much GB or MB storage there is. Please help!

internal storage

xbox 360s wont recognize internal storage. went to settings then storage, says unformatted, tried to format nothing happens. tried to reset to default, then run setup, system update says not enough storage space. any help please.

Accident Format

Please guys help me please I accidentally formatted my main Xbox 360s storage now my minecraft game update has been removed It happened when I opened my Xbox 360s and it says update required and then after that it says I need 190 my thinggy And the I saw
my storage device and then it says format it's the only option I can choose because the other are not black fronted so it means I can only press "Format" so I pressed it and suddenly all the system datas are removed including the avatar editor and minecraft
update and my profiles and my system cache THEYRE ALL GONE! Can you please help me fix this

There's a little door on the bottom of the console. That is where the hard drive would be. There should be a tab attached to the hard drive that will list the size of the drive.

There could also be internal memory of 4GB or not. If you can turn on the console and check the system settings, it would show that memory as well.

it's the "bottom" if you stand the console up vertically, however if you have it sitting flat, then the hard drive door is on the right side of the console.

just because there is no hard drive, doesn't necessarily mean there will be the 4GB internal either. someone could have removed the hard drive and sold just the console.

also there could be 4GB internal memory AND a removable hard drive. they could bought the 4GB model, then decided they needed more storage and added a hard drive separately.

Is there a way you can tell whether a console was fitted with a hard drive from the factory? According to what I've read, the 360S console I purchased yesterday should have had both 4GB onboard and the 250GB hard drive, but the HDD is missing and the person
I purchased it from insists there was never a HDD in it.

I can't get through to chat with support because of some stupid issue with my Microsoft account not filling in my name, so I need help please!!

The consoles were sold both with and without a hard drive. If the person you bought it from says there was no hard drive then that is probably accurate. As for finding out how much storage space there is you can go to Settings>System>Storage from the dashboard
to find out.

there were no consoles originally shipped with BOTH 4 GB internal storage and 250/320 GB removable hard drive. they include only one or the other when purchasing brand new. however you can purchase a hard drive and add it to a console with 4 GB internal.
if the console has 4 GB internal then it did not ship with a hard drive.
