please help my xbox one isnt loading up correctly

hello my sons xbox is not loading up correctly, it comes on and goes to apps and games then back to the main menu, although some of the apps and home screen are blank, the controllers do not work so i cant get into system settings, i was thinking it was
a failed update that caused it, so i got into the xbox one trouble shooter and downloaded the offline system update but for the life of me i cannot get the option to highlight, i have tried a few memory sticks but the option to offline update is greyed out
still, the controllers work in the trouble shooting menu but not on the main system, its stuck in this boot loop and ends up at a blank screen

my xbox one wont load any further than the green start up screen it just keeps loading what do i do ??

Hey TBP! Try doing a factory reset. Hole the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it from the outlet for a minute then plug back in and power back on. Hopefully this will get u to the home screen where u can sync the controller
and get to settings.

thanks i will try this, will i lose any data?, as i did see factory reset on the troubleshoot menu but that is a last resort

App Won't Start solution to see if it will allow you to load up the avatar editor correctly.

Hey

So, you could try to load the game

by choosing the save file.

If the needed save isnt displayed to

choose, its unlikely it saved correctly.

This happened to me a couple of times, with previous versions of AC.
