Please help me

Actually i am from Nepal...My sister bought me xbox one from united states..I am totally unknown about gaming consule but so much interested in playing it..I connected my xbox and it needs to pe updated at first about 3gb..During upadte my consule
shut down and i though that it was due to the weak connection to circuit..but my adapter smells bad like that of burning smell..now my adapter doesnot work and no orange light in my adapter..m getting worried..adapter from usa is of 120v and i have connected
t0 220v..my adapter is gone or not?? What i have to do now..please help me

Hi! I'll be happy to assist ok so it sounds like you blew out your power for the console, see if the volts go over the amount ( which in this case is 120 ) and since you went way over that it couldn't handle that so it sounds like you'll need a new power
cable/ power box, but depending on which xbox you have it maybe different, did you have the big black xbox or small white xbox?

 

Codyflick1992 thank u so much for helping me..I have big black xbox..what i have to do now?? Is there xbox brick.adpater which requires 220 voltage?? does that adapter made any problem.to my gaming consule?? What will be the best solution to run in 220 voltage

You are going to need to request a new power supply from Microsoft by scheduling a repair. You will likely need to send the broken power supply to Microsoft, and they'll send you back a working replacement. As you schedule a repair, be sure to let them know
that you live in Nepal so they will send you back a replacement unit compatible with your country's voltage standards..
