    I just bought xbox live gold via a visa credit card and everything went smoothly but when i logged on onto my xbox and tried to play online it says the current profile is not allowed to play on xbox live. Someone please tell me what to do because i dont
    want money to go to waste i've heard that you have to delete your profile and do all sorts of stuff then redownload it but i'm not sure that it will work and i don't want to delete my profile and have it lost forever PLEASE HELP.

    you just need to buy a gold membership and apply it to your silver membership turning it into gold then you will be able to play that game no need to delete or re download anything.
