Please help me with my new mic.

I literally just got on xbox to find out that my headset is not producing any sound at all. I'm sure its not the actual headset because it worked fine yesterday. Also, because it works for computer but not for plugging it in to my controller. Maybe water
got into the controller slot for my mic. Overall, I just can't seem to get a grip on why my headset is not working with my controller.

I need help.

I just got a new mic today and its in perfect condition. But it refuses to work. i had this same issue with my last mic. Do i need a new controller, or can i fix my current controllers mic port? Please help

My mic is quiet to other people

I'm having a problem with my mic. I do not have a Kinect device. In order to use my mic I have to use the afterglow headset adapter. However people barely hear me even though I hear them crystal clear. I've searched all on my Xbox to turn the mic volume
up but to no avail please please please help me.

Sorry to hear about the headset trouble! First, have you tried a full power cycle on your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds? If that doesn't help, do you have a different Xbox One controller you can test your headset on to see if there's
any change? Keep us in the loop

Its not your mic trust me i threw away my almost brand new one thinking it was broke it is a glitch that they need to adress please fix our mic issues

You have to plug your mic in BEFORE you boot up the game.

You might have to exit the application before plugging your mic in.

Is your 360 mic compatible with the X1?

Also, check your NAT settings. For full chat functions, it needs to be in Open setting. I just discovered I was in Moderate setting last night, which was causing all kinds of chat issues. Here's the Chat Issues support thread I used, to get it straightened
