I am also having the issue where im being prompted to sign in to a parental profile that hasrely never been used since I created it when I was 15. This is the first time that having the parental profile has ever caused me problems but now no matter what
I try I can't access my account because of this update that needs parental permission

hello I purchased a xbox 360 game on my xbox one and it told me I had to reinstall my account to play it so I deleted it and tried to sign back in but it wont let me I called support yesterday and tried to go throw the security questions to reset my password
but I bought my account from a friend of mine so all the questions are things I don't kno like his moms phone number and ****. someone please help me its my **** birthday and im pissed cause I cant play the game I just bought and cant call support cause my
cellphone provider is down I just want my account that I spent over 200$ on plz Microsoft

Sorry to hear it. Are you 18 or older? If so, you could try promoting your account to adult.

If you are younger than 18 then I'm afraid that there's nothing that can be done as you do need that information and there is no place that it's stored.

The account owner will need to contact Microsoft Support, there's no other way to resolve this issue from your end, since you are not the account owner.

Come on wrong forum, demand gold code from microsoft, ask for help, I think you got these mixed up. contact microsoft support, if you entered a valid code last night and it just stopped working today I'm sure a support staff member can tell you what happened,
just try being a little more courteous to them if you want a favorable result.
