please help guys why don't i get up download speeds on xbox one ? :)

hey everyone i 'm on virgin media with super hub 2 i'm paying £90 pound a month for 160mb download speed but don't even come close to getting it on xbox one was perfect on xbox 360 ? when i do a speedtest on pc i get the full 160mb 13upload n 6ping
but not on xbox one can someone help me please would mean alot to me

yes done port forwarding

( i even bought a router for £200 pound did nothing for me lol )

Xbox one speeds

What ate ideal upload and down load speeds for xbox one? I am getting speeds at ...download at 2.85 mbps and upload at 0.72 mbps. Some games take to long to load that it stops loading .. Please help!!!!

 

How can I fix my XboxOne download speed?

I pay for 150mbps internet speed from SuddenLink internet. On both my laptop and PC I get about 126-136 on the 5g wifi on SpeedTest and wired in I get the full 150mbps speed, but on my Xbox One detailed stats I get sub 30 mbps download speed every time wired
in. Why is this? And is there an easy fix?

Please share any feedback.

 

Have you tried replacing the Xbox ? Failing that contact your internet provider and see what they say

I'm sure I read the Xbox won't show the same speed as a normal speed test so if you can play online ok I wouldn't worry about it

 

yeah m8 always 4 bar in games no lag what so ever just don't get it i want full speeds m8

 

if you doing the speed test within the xbox one settings then ignore this, it is a quick burst speed test which is as accurate as a drunk archer, if you don't lag then things are fine, you will never be able to download the games from the store at your fullest
speeds either as there are plenty of bottle necks stopping that.

im with virgin to mate, same package as you. when i have a look at dl speeds on console it shows the full speed ( both ul and dl ) on a side not, why are you paying £90!!! i have 160 fibre, tv ( large package ) and phone, only paying £63, id give them a
ring

 

Speeds don't matter much when it comes to gaming anyway, especially for FPS games. It's all about ping/latency. As long as it's below the recommended 30, then all should be fine.

 

Your speeds will change at different times of the day.

Do your test at 06:00 on a weekday for the best results.

We're culturally pre-disposed to want the biggest and best and think that biggest is best.

However you don't need a Corporate or Business level to successfully game on the XBox ONE despite what the interweb told you.

 

sorry for not getting back lads rang virgin n xbox today can't do anything about it plus xbox said u will never get your full download speeds n the speed test is not accurate at all i don't know why but i always get disconnect of wireless anyone else get
