    I don't remember my Windows ID email/pass, can't login with Gamertag to find out what it was because I need the Windows ID

    Help... I'm returning to XBox after many years and can't remember my login information for my gamertag. At some point down the line, I installed GTA4 for the PC (not XBOX). It wanted me to create a Windows Live account. Somewhere through all of it, the
    email I would normally use got connected up with a brand new Gamertag for GTA4 (the account I'm posting on). This was not my intention...

    I try to login to XBox Live with my GamerTag. Says, "you must login with the Windows Live account associated to this Gamertag." Except I don't know what it was... And I can't login to find out what it was.

    when I try to login into XBox.com with my Microsoft account nothing happens so I can't change my Gamertag or other things.

    Sorry for bad Englisch I'm from Germany

    Nope

    Its never cross platform

    They only share the gamertag system and login system

    Cross platform/ Cross Save

    nothing as destiny cross saves with various platforms using the actual login, so it would use your microsoft account and steam account etc, not the gamertag name.

    You need the email

    Your gamertag has nothing to do with your login

    You can't enter your gamertag anywhere period to login
