Please help fix my Fortnite.

Hi, Jonny. Were you able to play other games aside from Fornite? You can also check if you can play it via cloud gaming. Just launch MS edge on your Xbox then sign in at Xbox.com/play.

Alrighty, kindly save your account information first before resetting your Xbox so you can easily download it again after the reset. To do this, let's scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide and select Settings, then Select All Settings. On the Settings page, let's select System, then Select Console info and lastly, select Reset console. On the Reset your console screen, we'll see three options and we'll select the Reset and keep my games & apps.

Hi, Jonny! I appreciate you trying the steps. Are you only having this issue in Fornite? You can try to refresh your operating system and delete all potentially corrupted data that restricts you from using your console normally without deleting your games or apps. Just a heads-up, doing this will erase the profiles on the console including Home Xbox designation but will not remove any installed games & apps on your console. You can download your profile back after the reset. Would that be fine with you?

May I know what steps have you tried so far?

You can try clearing your MAC address or changing your DNS. Kindly go to your Xbox Settings. Select Network Settings > Advanced Settings. Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address> select Clear. Allow the console to restart when prompted then try to launch the game again.

If that did not work, try changing your DNS. Go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS settings > manual

Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8

Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4

then check again.
