Please help! Error start up

Hi All,

Right, I turned on my xbox and it came up with an error start up code (e200 000000ef 0000000), it gave me options such as restarting I turned off by power ect, this did not work. it gave me the option to factory reset - which I did, this gave me another
error: e102 00080000 80070571). It does not let me go to the home screen, it has locked me out. There is one more option offline system update - I spoke to support they said download one of the OSUDT files and plug in through USB. did all that fine, changed
format, nothing else on memory stick. did the correct procedure till I hear the two beeps (steps are in this link:

https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/console/offline-system-update-diagnostic-tool ) they said do the first OSTUD1 file and see where that gets us, I click to do the update and it says preparing xbox to update, gets to 5% and crashes - something went
wrong, I get another system error, e101 00000504 8007071. so it wont let me do it! Any ideas what to do/where to go next? tbh it seems likes its had it. Will they replace it? not my fault its broke haha. Would really appreciate ANY help/info. I'll try downloading
the next OSTDU file - number 2, and see what that does. Cheers and sorry for the massiveeeeee paragraph. Sam

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.

I have just tried the cable into the tv on a separate device. The tv recognises the cable in all HDMI ports (2-4). When i plug the cable back into the Xbox the tv shows nothing so therefore it apoears to be something within the Xbox that wont recognise the
cable.

Hope i’m making sense!

Thanks for the prompt reply but sadly this didn’t work. The system isnt recognising the HDMI cable which i know is working correctly as i have tried it on other systems such as my DVD player.

I’m really not good with these sort of things and nit sure what to try next.

Got a few questions so we can hope to identify where the issue is.

Does the TV act as if it's getting a signal, it just doesn't show anything, or does it remain unchanged when you power on the Xbox as no signal?

First thing to check is the HDMI source on the TV, cycle through and see if it's on a different input. Then, if available, try plugging the Xbox into a different port and see if it displays on a different HDMI input on the TV. If you have a different HDMI
cable, that might be worth trying as well. After, again if available, I would recommend trying to hook it up to a different display to see if it displays on there.

Those steps can help us identify if it's the console, the TV, the cable, or something else along those lines.

This page also has other steps to try, with some different options. Let us know if any of these actions
make a change on your situation.
