    So here's the problem:

    When ever I try to download Battlefield 1 I get an error cod 0x8007000e and it says to check my network settings. Moreover, whenever I try to update Fallout 4 which I installed from a disc, it won't update though it does not give an error code.

    Here's the history:

    I ordered a brand new Xbox One S battlefield bundle with a free copy of Fallout 4 from Walmart a few days ago. I picked it up yesterday, signed in, and immediately started downloading Battlefield 1 with no problems. However, as a massive game, it was
    taking a long time to download (slowly but surely). So, today when it was just over 90% complete, I decided to install Fallout 4 first since it was on a disc and I knew would be faster. That way, while I was playing Fallout, battlefield could finish downloading.
    Fallout installed fine, but when I started it, it said it needed an update first. However, then I got the message that it couldn't update and to try again later. Moreover, Battlefield all of a sudden started giving me the error message above and wouldn't
    finish downloading at all.

    Here's what I've tried:

    1) Checking/resetting network settings repeatedly (I know it works because I can use the web from the Xbox). 2) Doing a COMPLETE reset to factory settings TWICE, to no avail. 3) A bunch of other things (uninstalling, reinstalling, starting offline etc.)
    but I won't go into detail since a complete reset should've encompassed them all. I'm at a loss as to what to do next.

    Any suggestions? Should I just return the Xbox and get a refund? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    done all the steps described in the proposal documents (no errors during inspections is not), download the game again, again exactly everything well.

    Video recorded at the time of downloading the 32 MB. and screenshots of the size of the folder with the game and a screenshot of the error.

    My pc runs on W11. I have downloaded the game in the past and played it a lot. A week ago i think i had to update it and dropped an error which after i searched online i found out that the only solution was to uninstall and reinstall the game but as you see i failed. I have both tried to install it on C:(crashes always on 16%, 23.3 gb) and a D: with ntfs format (crashes always on 8%). I have tried restart, installation on a clean folder, restarted the router for better connection. Nothing has worked and dont know what to do. Also through the xbox app it normaly crashes as said on 16% and through the microsoft store it crashes even sooner. I also checked my drives and there is nothing off.

    However, I find it appropriate to ask some questions:

    — Does your PC run Windows 10 or Windows 11?

    — Do you want to install Forza Horizon on the C: partition, or do you want to install it on a different one?

    — If you want to install it to a different one, may I know if this partition has the NTFS format?
    You can check this by opening the File Explorer > My Computer > Locate the drive, right-click on it and select Properties.

    — Do you notice a similar issue when attempting to install other games, or is just Forza Horizon 5?

    — Do you see this error during the installation process on the Xbox app, or the Microsoft Store?

    — What potential solutions have you tried to fix this issue before creating your post?
    Please describe each one.

    Based on the information you provided, I would like to suggest the following potential solutions:

    A. Run the Gaming Services repair tool and then try again.

    B. Perform a clean boot in your PC, once restarted, try again.

    You can follow the steps for the clean boot process, by clicking here:

    C. Search “Services” by using the Windows search functionality and look for the following services:

    IP Helper
    Xbox Live Auth Manager
    Xbox Live Game Save
    Xbox Live Networking Service
    Gaming Services

    For each service: Right-click on the service > Properties.
    In Startup Type, set the service to Automatic.

    If the service isn’t started, click Start > Apply > OK to save changes, restart your PC and try again.

    Note: In case GamingServices can't be modified, skip that one.

    D. “Reinstall the Gaming Services app on your Windows 10/11 device:

    Press the Start button on the taskbar, type PowerShell, right-click on Windows PowerShell, and then select Run as administrator.

    In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

    get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

    Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.
    Restart your device and try to install the game again.”
