Please help credit card issue

okay so it's really starting to annoy me now every time I try to buy something without a card it asks me to add payment option when I one want to download something that is free and I don't want to put my bank details on the Xbox so why can't I change it
back to when I redeem a code and it doesn't ask for a payment option when I try to download something for free

I have an Issue, and it is making my crazy!,

When I began to create my own, I was asked to use my credit card for the trial, so I use it and follow all instructions. Then I Turned off the auto-renewal, next I wanted to delete/remove all information from my card, but it says I can not:

This payment option cannot be removed at this time. Go to the Payment method information page
to view services associated with this payment option.

I have this:

Xbox LIVE

Gold – 1 Month FREE Trial

EXPIRES ON: month/day/2013
PAID WITH: XXXX
Keep playing by auto-renewing your membership.
1.So that means that i am not getting charged?
2. Why can' I remove my credit card!, is there another way to cancel it?
3. What is going to happen to my Credit Card?
4. Will i be charged in he future?
5. Also, i read that you can't remove credit card while having a gold membership active ( in this case is the trial right? ) Does it applies here?

Help! Credit card Issue!

You cannot remove a credit card on an active gold subscription.

As long as you have turned off the auto renew you will not be charged for the next month.

-

As soon as the trial time is over you can remove the card,or you can call support with an alternative form of payment to take its place.
