Please help! - Connecting to Xbox Live on dashboard bug?

no, this guide doesn't help, it's Dashboard OS issue, not console itself! I think it's related to xbox live connection on Microsoft side and bug in Dashboard OS

i am having this problem currently and have no idea what to do please help. i can sign in at the xbox dashboard but when i go to play online on a game it says connect to xbox live. when i try it said "xbox live connection lost" please contact me somehow

I have this problem on two Xboxes, one is an old white 60gb and the other one a new slim 250GB.

The problem first appeared with the beta of the latest dashboard, which was installed only on the slim box.

Also the bug occurs for all live profiles on the consoles. Pure offline profiles never have this problem, they are always showing xbox live marketing things in the dashboard.

Maybe it's a simple timing/time-out problem. It seems that the bug appears, when the connection to live takes longer then normal.

The workaround starting a game and exit always brings back the dashboard.

there is no message as such, other than, disconnected - please sign in to xbox live... cannot connect. - test connection.... all checks out ok.
