Please Help! Both My Controllers No Longer Recognized(?) By Console

It happened last night, RIGHT AFTER an hour-long endurance trial to get my Gold auto-renewal billing cancelled. They both worked FINE before the ordeal of canceling, and now they BOTH DON'T. The console comes on no problem, the controllers light up but
either flash all four lines w/o stopping, or flash two of the green lights twice or so then stops lighting at all. Either way, the console doesn't seem to recognize them at all, and it's lights are all green looking for the controller.

I don't believe in big coincidences like that, and think the very-rude and slow agent who finally did her job but only rudely may have done something to mess up the console by sending a signal or something just to be more rude than she was, but the important
thing is to figure out why both controllers suddenly don't seem to connect.

Xbox app streaming not (any longer) supports two controllers ?

I am connecting two Xbox one wireless controllers through an Xbox Wireless Adapter to a Windows 10 PC, and always playing my Xbox one console games on Win 10 by streaming, and those all went right and smooth, until the recent updates.

Now, with the latest updates of both the Xbox one console firmware ( 10.0.15063.3054/rs2_release_xbox_1705.170512-1759 ) and the Xbox App ( 29.29.17002.00000 ), only one ( the first working one when streaming starts ) controller is usable in streaming. No
matter in the home page or in game, only one controller is recognized by the console.

The two controllers are the original first gen Xbox one controllers (without 3.5mm jacks), both individually properly recognized by Windows 10 ( Win 10 Pro 1703/15063.296 ) and works well, even inside the Xbox app itself, except streaming.

Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear it. There is no signal that can be sent that will disconnect your controllers. That is strictly a coincidence.

Please try either using a usb cable to connect the controllers to force recognition or use the sync buttons to resync them.

I can't gain control/use of either controller to access any menus. Should I try to reset the console after pulling off the hard drive perhaps? I've never had 4 controllers, let alone 4 of them assigned/connected.

Somehow one of my controllers is working again, so I'm good enough with that for now. Weird, but my whole month has been that. Thanks onyx62is for you help.
