Please help and answer, please.

So i recieved my headset in the mail and I am the luckiest guy on earth because I have only 1 compatible controller as it stands. Could you guys look at the end of this headset and tell me if I can forcable remove the black things frmo either side in order
to make it fit the controllers I have with only space for the headset jack.

These things do not seem to do anything other than stabalize the headset but I need help because if I cut it and they do, then I cannot afford a new one. Please hrlp

I know but Microsoft might be jelous of the Playstation 3 and but a lock on it. I'm not trying to say one console is better than the other, as the PS3 has blu-ray but the xbox has a better list of games

No one here is allowed to really help you with this issue as its technically modifying an accessory.

I would hardly call it modifying.

Is this on the 360? As it is only the jackplug that is used for the electrical connection between controller and headset. The black lugs are just used to lock the connector in place, so it is perfectly safe to remove them.

My official headsets just have the jackplug , no fancy locking connector, as the mute switch is in-line and not in the connector itself as the photo shows.

I don't believe you can move your profile to an external device on the One, but you can just download your account to the 360 and use it there. Your game saves would already be on the cloud so saves for any backwards compatible games would also be available
on the 360.

theres also a non MW3 bluetooth headset coming out for 360 and its about £20 cheaper than the MW one.

Oh yeah I remember that, You kept making SOOO many thread about leaving Xbox.

And when you finally got a PS3, the PSN was hacked, LOL and you couldn't go online for more than a month.
