Please help!! Advanced warfare connection problem!

I've re-installed my disc copy over 5 times now, I've tried doing it offline then doing the update separate but whenever I try to play online multiplayer it just says 'the advanced warfare servers are unavailable'

i went to the midnight release for thi game and was really excited for a call of duty game for the first time, and now I just feel robbed and upset with this broken game:'(

I am unable to download advanced warfare onto my xbox I purchased it through the online store and it will read "can't download call of duty: advanced warfar" or it will disconnect me from xbox live I hav a 500gb Xbox so space isn't the problem help please

 

Have you played one of the former CoD games on the One? Did you experience any problems there? Are you using portforwardings?

 

My disc copy doesn't load, but I can't even get to the main menu. For whatever reason it won't even let me uninstall the game either.

 

This is the first cod I've played on the xbox one, I've played them all on 360 and never had anything like this happen!

 

It's been 24hrs now since I got the game, I just re-installed it and it's still not connecting to multiplayer.

 

That's why I asked. CoD needs some ports opened on your router. So if you still own a 360 and have it running, these ports may be blocked by your 360.

Are you having any portforwardings configured on your router?

No I don't have anything like that, I'm not even sure how I would go about getting that configured?

Is it a deperate device or just something I can set up from my computer?

Well that depends on your specific router.

Usually you can configure it in the routers webinterface you can reach with your copmuter. If however possible I'd suggest to have your xbox One moved to the dmz there if your router provides this.

If you tell me the model and make of your router I may give more specific help on this.

 

I am on my routers page, but there are no options to set up a port forwarding, or Dmz.

I have a netgear router.

 

You may need to switch to advanced view. You may take a look at the manual of your router, how to set this up.

Pick your router and search the list for "Xbox one". I strongly recommend NOT to use the offered software there. Just follow the provided step by step guide.

 

I've tried everything, I spent the entirety of my day today just trying to get this game to work, to be honest I don't think they deserve my money if I have to go through all this to play a *** game, I'm bringing it in for my money back tomorrow.
