PLEASE HELP ACCOUNT IS AT RISK I'VE BEEN TARGETED!!!

I was recently a target of a hacker while playing gta 5 online on 10/28/14 By a Live player called "[Mod Removed]" , and this person sent me a chilling voice message through Xbox Live stating that my account will be hacked if i continue
to kill him in the game. What he said in the message which i still have i hope i blocked him after he sent me this message "NO ONE KILLS ME THAT WAY YOU BETTER LEAVE THIS GAME OR YOUR LIVE ACCOUNT WILL BE GONE FOR A MONTH'S!!!" This scared me because my credit
card/ Bank account is linked to my live account. This is the purpose of the game to battle each other online. Please if anyone high in Microsoft is reading this please help me i've been a customer for 13 years now, and i have good standing with the Xbox community
i don't want to get hacked and loose everything over a game match!!

Hey there! It's good that you're looking out for the safety of your account. What was the exact message you got? And where did it come to you? Over LIVE, or in an email? We'd be happy to take a look!

 

Calling out gamertags is not allowed on the forums.

The only way this person could access your account details is if you gave them your login info so don't worry.

The only way to report someone is via your console,it can't be done anywhere else.

Report & block comms with them & they will be investigated.

 

If you have been a customer for 13 years surely you have ran into idiots like that before??

Your account can not be hacked without you giving out personal details.

Report and block, and do not name and shame here.

 

Just block him .As long as you dont give him info like your email and password,ip address,ss# you cant be hacked.If you were on a PC then maybe.But for him to hack personal info would require him to install malicious software onto your Xbox.Xbox consoles
do not allow for this.Only MS can install anything.They been saying for years theyre gonna hack me and I always reply"lol "

 

Chances are, you've run into an angry child on Xbox Live.

If someone was smart enough and capable of gaining unauthorized access to your account, they'd be smart enough to not tell you. The few who manage to don't even specifically target an individual, they just spin the wheel and hope for the best, and they are
usually busted before any damage can be done.

Again, when threats like this come up, just shrug your shoulders and continue enjoying your games. Unless Live goes down as a whole, your account is at no risk.

 

I've just been admiring this statement and wondering if it means 1 month... or many a months?

 

All you had to do was quietly report him and leave the situation. That's all you had to do.
