Please fix Xbox Fitness Leaderboards

Xbox Fitness statistics like Total Fit Points and Session Challenges Completed are reported incorrectly (lower than they should be) anywhere outside of the game. For example in Smartglass, the leaderboards (Dasbboard Preview Program Game Hub), or third party
services like TrueAchievements. This issue has been affecting me for over a month and I know are dozens just within my friends who are affected by the same issue.

So Smartglass and the Game Hub are reporting close to 6M Fit Points less than they should. In the past Smartglass did report the correct amount of points. Somewhere around a month ago it lost those ~6M FP. The number still goes up every time when I complete
a workout, but the missing FPs never returned.

In this case Smartglass and Game Hub are reporting 239 challenges less than they should. Same problem as with the Total Fit Points, in the past Smartglass did report the correct number but it broke about a month ago. Number still goes up when new challenges
are completed too.

What I tried to fix it

I have done several things, nothing solved the issue in any way.

• Hard reboot of the Xbox
• Uninstalling and re-downloading Xbox Fitness and its DLCs
• Deleting the local game data and having it sync save data from the cloud
• Clearing exercise attributes in Xbox Fitness settings
• Continuing to workout in the hope the problem would fix itself

How widespread is this issue?

Honestly, I don't know. I don't know if it affects everyone, but the problem seems fairly widespread. I have added quite a few of Xbox Fitness players to my friends list and noticed more than a dozen of them went down in Total Fit Points. I have seen several
other people mention this problem on Twitter and Reddit too.

Can it be fixed?

It seems like a fairly straightforward fix. The in-game data is correct (see the screenshots). Coding-wise the game just needs to make sure those correct numbers are communicated to services like the Game Hub and Smartglass.

The Game Hub feature makes leaderboards more prominent. Currently it is only available to those in the Dashboard Preview Program, but it will be pushed to everyone next month. On top of that leaderboards especially for Xbox Fitness provide motivation. It
would be a shame if the were worthless because the numbers aren't correct.

Has anyone else had problems with Xbox Fitness not launching

Wow guys. This is so weird. Today I tried xbox fitness and it got to the blue xbox fitness screen. But then 5 seconds later it jumped out to the xbox home screen. Tried a few times but had the same problem. God please fix all these problems. I just want
to play the game.

 

Xbox Fitness Crashes Mid Workout

Back to frustration with Xbox fitness. Now I can work out for about 3 minutes before I get "Xbox Fitness Service Unavailable. Please try again later. Error Code 1000". I have reset and restored Xbox to factory settings. I have cleared persistent storage
and cleared Mac Address. I wish Microsoft would finally fix this app. Some of us bought the Xbox one for "the future of fitness". If this is the future, the past is more consistent.

 

My fit points have gone way down. I'll get totals. I know I'm at 7 million on true Achievements and Xbox glass but really I'm over 20 million. I should be in the top 10 not 60th place

 

I have figured out my points

True Achievements = 7959561

Xbox Glass = 8813495

Actual points = 25114875

Missing about 16.5 million points on average

 

Seems this issue got fixed. Don't know since when, but I noticed it last night.

Completed session challenges is now correct

Total Fit Points is now slightly higher than what I calculated myself. May be an error on my side, or Xbox Fitness rounding up. But good enough.

A lot of my friend had their total fit points go up too, seems to be fixed for (almost) everyone. Check your numbers in game hub or smartglass. Places like TrueAchievements will take some time to get the new numbers.

 

None of mine is fixed. It still shows my points wrong, completed challenges wrong and it's reporting that I'm still level 49 - when I'm 51. My Fit-Ness Monster achievement won't unlock thanks to this, too. At least I assume that's why it hasn't unlocked.
